The Crown Jewel of the Finger Lakes
Casual Luxury Resort in New York Wine Country

Fall 2019

Dear Visitor,

Thank you for visiting Geneva On The Lake today.

Since opening on Thanksgiving Day 1981 the resort has become a four-season destination in beautiful Geneva, New York. Our boutique resort hotel is located on 10 acres overlooking Seneca Lake and is adjacent to Geneva’s Historic District and the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. This is the very heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes Wine Country. We have received the AAA Four Diamond Award for 36 years.

Our founder, Norbert H. Schickel Jr., my father, liked to describe Geneva On The Lake as “an oasis, a little island of beauty, peace and friendliness in a busy world.”

We invite you to come experience all the splendor of fall in the Finger Lakes at Geneva On The Lake and make this ‘your little oasis and refuge.’
